India’s First Day-Night Test

India’s first day-night Test was played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. This was the first time when Team India played cricket with a pink ball. To mark the special occasion, the entire city of Kolkata shimmered in a pink hue. The new BCCI chief Saurav Ganguly is the brain behind the first-ever day-night Test. 

The first day-night test match was played between India and Bangladesh.
