On May 27, 2020 (now, Saturday, May 30) history will be made in the United States (US) in the form of its first crewed (with humans onboard) launch into space on a mission called Demo-2 after nearly ten years!
The purpose of this mission is to show SpaceX’s ability to ferry astronauts to the space station and back safely.
How did it all begin?
Before this mission, US soil had hosted the crewed launch of the shuttle Atlantis on July 8, 2011.
